A major step forward in delivering advanced, life-saving healthcare for the people of Lahore
Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) inaugurated its new state-of-the-art six-storey Medical Tower, marking a significant expansion in advanced healthcare services for the people of Lahore. The ceremony was led by Chairperson NUR–Fatima Memorial System, Mrs. Shahima T. Rehman, followed by Mr. Tariq Rehman, Member, Board of Management, Fatima Memorial Hospital; Ms. Maha Rehman, Co-Founder, NUR Foundation; and Mr. Salem Rehman, Vice Chancellor, NUR International University, along with Medical Superintendent, Dr. Muhammad Farhan Feroz, and Mr. Mansoor Jamal Butt, Group Head Operations, NUR–Fatima Memorial System. The event was graced by Guest of Honour Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal, daughter-in-law of Allama Iqbal, and attended by members of the hospital administration, senior doctors, and other distinguished guests.
Addressing the occasion, Mrs. Shahima T. Rehman highlighted FMH’s enduring commitment to compassionate and inclusive healthcare, stating that the new Tower reflects the institution’s vision to expand access to advanced medical services while upholding the highest standards of care. Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of institutions that serve humanity with integrity, noting that such efforts are vital for strengthening healthcare systems and supporting communities.
The inauguration included a formal introduction of services and a guided visit to departments, where clinical teams highlighted key features of the new facility. Leadership emphasized that the Tower will play a vital role in addressing Lahore’s growing healthcare needs, particularly in cardiac care, representing a significant milestone in FMH’s continued commitment to advancing healthcare and serving communities with quality and compassion.
Highlighting the vision behind the project, Dr. Muhammad Farhan Feroz stated that this is among the few facilities in Lahore where the same standard of care is being delivered to all patients, regardless of their financial background. Emphasizing the tower’s strong focus on cardiac care, Dr. M. Zarrar Arif Butt, Assistant Professor & HOD Cardiology, noted that it is now one of the most advanced CATH Lab and cardiac care facilities available in the heart of Lahore.
The new facility strengthens FMH’s legacy of trusted care since 1977 by offering comprehensive, patient-centered services under one roof. Key highlights include 24/7 Cardiac Emergency services, a fully equipped CATH Lab, dedicated CCU, Primary PCI/Chest Pain Unit, and advanced interventional procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
The tower also enhances Mother & Child Care with modern Labour & Delivery services, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU support, and round-the-clock critical care backup. In addition, it features Consultant Clinics, a specialized Metabolic Clinic, and premium private rooms, ensuring quality care with comfort and privacy.
