Dr Sara has comprehensive knowledge and experience in the field of Maternal & Fetal Medicine. She has personal expertise in ultrasound. Her primary focus is on fetal surveillance for complex multiple pregnancies, the diagnosis of fetal congenital abnormalities and Rh incompatibility and fetal growth disorders.

Dr Farhat has a broad range of interests in Maternal fetal medicine with special interest in, Pregnancy induced hypertension, screening and screening and prevention of Pre-eclampsia, Fetal Growth restriction and Dopplers. She has dedicated commitment to teaching and researches.

The Prenatal services provide the tests and screenings to monitor your health and your baby’s growth and development. If medical, genetic or other issues are discovered, you’ll receive supportive counseling and the most immediate and appropriate treatment.

  • Fetal GROW (Gestation related optimum weight) Charts:


We believe in evidence-based practices and are trying to bring excellence to antenatal care (pregnancy). We work in collaboration with Perinatal institute of United Kingdom and offer Fetal GROW charts to all women. These GROW charts are customized for each woman. Low risk women are monitored by standardized fundal height measurements and high risk with estimated fetal weight. Genetic Tests:
We have liaison with national and International genetic labs for karyotype, genetic panels and exome sequencing.
Development of Customized GROW charts for Pakistani women with Perinatal Institute UK (completed project) Project In charge: Dr Abeer Saeed, Dr Sundas Mushtaq, Dr Farhat ul Ain Ahmed.

GROW charts are customized for each pregnant woman according to her height, weight, parity. Plotting standardized fundal height measurements on customized charts help us to detect small babies earlier, improves monitoring and reduces the stillbirth rate.

Our team members have received accreditation on Growth assessment Protocol (GAP) by Perinatal institute of UK. Our practices comprising of GAP include:
1. Evidence based guidance and risk assessment algorithms
2. Training and accreditation of all staff involved in clinical care
3. Implementation of customized GROW chart and audit tool
4. Rolling audit and benchmarking of performance

Placenta Accreta Spectrum with Middle East OBGYN Graduate Education Foundation.
Placenta Accreta is an emerging problem highly associated with multiple blood transfusions, hysterectomy and maternal mortality.
Aim of this project is to study diagnosis and management approaches of PAS and to assess safety and efficacy of different conservative approaches compared to planned hysterectomy. Prediction of Clinical outcomes in Women with Placenta Accreta Spectrum Using Machine Learning Models. (completed)
