FMH Clinical Laboratory is 24/7 laboratory catering 500 bedded tertiary care hospital. It is equipped with the latest equipment, well trained, qualified and skilled technologist supervised by highly qualified and experienced consultants in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Haematology, Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry and the Blood Bank.
The Laboratory is certified for ISO 9001-2015 and regularly participates in RIQAS Randox International Quality Assessment Scheme.
Under the supervision of consultant doctors, the lab applies stringent quality control checks in line with international guidelines for Westgard rules and regulatory bodies governing the operations of clinical laboratories which are the Punjab Health Care Commission and Punjab Blood Transfusion Authority.
The Faculty and technical staff members working in the clinical laboratories are actively involved in laboratory based medical research and Continuing Medical Education (CME) nationwide.
The FMH Lab offers;

- STAT (special turnaround time) test result reporting of urgent cases (e.g. Emergency, ICUs and critical patients of wards).
